PM aims to strengthen Pakistan-Thailand ties after Anutin reappointment

Anutin won a key parliamentary vote on Thursday. He became the first reelected Thai prime minister in two decades. This victory could bring political stability to Thailand. The country has faced years of political uncertainty.

Anutin led the vote from the beginning. He defeated rival Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut by a large margin. Natthaphong represents the progressive People’s Party. His party had been expected to win the recent election.

Sharif congratulated Anutin in a post on X. He expressed confidence in Thailand’s future growth and peace. Furthermore, he highlighted hopes for progress under Anutin’s leadership. He also stressed the importance of mutual cooperation.
